In the vibrant melting pot of the Netherlands, where cultures merge and innovation goes hand in hand with tradition, the story of our main characters began: two proud Dutch Moroccans with a heart that beats for culinary adventures.
Their journeys took them through the sunny landscapes of France, Italy and Spain, where the aromas of tapas with chorizo, charcuterie boards with saucisson and richly topped ciabattas with salami stimulated their senses.
However, as a bridge between two worlds, they often found themselves at a crossroads: the delicious dishes they discovered were not in line with their halal lifestyle.
Inspired by their Moroccan roots and the versatile Dutch culture, they dreamed of a place where these worlds come together, a place where no lover of good taste would feel left out.
This vision led them to a discovery in France: a halal butcher shop that offered charcuterie, a rare find that made their hearts beat faster. This moment marked the beginning of the mission to make halal meat delicacies available in the Netherlands, supported by a network of halal brothers, entrepreneurs and small farms as suppliers.
Thus Pastrami was born, a celebration of flavors and cultures, rooted in halal tradition. With a range of classics such as pancetta, chorizo and saucisson, in addition to unique specialties such as cecina and bresaola, carefully selected to welcome everyone to our table.
